  • The Molten Core software plugin and standalone application ("Software");

If analytics are enabled with your consent:

  • Plugin/host version

  • Crash reports
  • Anonymous usage statistics

Usage statistics and crash reporting are collected only if you provide consent through the Software settings or onboarding interface. You may withdraw consent or disable such collection at any time.

We do not collect:

  • Audio files
  • Audio recordings
  • MIDI data
  • Creative project content

5. How We Use Your Data

We use personal data to:

  • Deliver, activate, and maintain the Software;
  • Provide updates, security patches, and Early Access development builds;
  • Communicate important product-related information necessary for performance of the contract;
  • Provide customer support;
  • Prevent fraud and unauthorized use;
  • Improve product stability and performance (where consent is given);
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. Data Sharing

We share personal data only where necessary.

A. Merchant of Record & Payment Processing

Purchases of the Software may be processed by Moonbase, acting as Merchant of Record. Moonbase processes billing information, payment details, VAT/sales tax handling, invoicing, and chargebacks as an independent data controller in accordance with its own privacy policy.

OZMT receives only the information necessary to manage licenses, customer accounts, and support.

OZMT does not store credit card information.

B. Cloud & Infrastructure Providers

We may use hosting, infrastructure, and analytics providers located within the EU or subject to lawful international transfer mechanisms.

All processors are bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) where required.

C. Analytics Providers (If Enabled)

If you consent to analytics, limited technical usage data may be processed by privacy-compliant analytics providers under appropriate safeguards.

7. International Data Transfers

If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as:

  • EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs);
  • Adequacy decisions by the European Commission.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary:

  • Account data: while your account remains active;
  • License and activation data: for the duration of the license and thereafter as reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, legal claims, and accounting compliance;
  • Accounting data: as required by Swedish law (typically 7 years);
  • Support communications: as reasonably necessary for documentation and dispute resolution.

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.
