Molten Core lets you tweak amp characteristics in the CoreEngine and design your own IR using the CabShaper designer—giving you a completely customizable sound palette.
Unlike traditional amp plugins that replicate existing products, Molten Core gives you the tools to forge your own tone, creating sounds that are uniquely yours.
CoreEngine
Amplifier Unleashed
The CoreEngine gives you deep control over how your distortion and tone is shaped at every stage in the signal chain. Go beyond standard amp parameters to fine-tune clipping behaviour, low-end saturation, and mid-frequency focus — perfect for adapting your sound to any tuning or playing style.
Distortion Characteristics
Five control sections. Total command over your saturation chain.
Character: Shifts the focus of the clipping between early stages and late stages for either rawer harmonic content or tight focus.
Low: Shapes bass frequencies before the clipping stage, essential for drop and extended-range tunings and bringing definition.
Mid Boost: Works like a customizable overdrive in front of the amp. Dial in drive, frequency, and width to add bite exactly where you want it.
Mid Ctrl: A parametric band with distortion applied within it, from cocked-wah aggression to selective gain staging.
High: Rolls off the top end between clipping stages. Pull it back to kill harshness or leave it open for extra edge.
Tone Shaping
Fine-tune how the amplifier's core tone controls respond.
Resonance: Adjust the centre frequency and bandwidth of the Resonance control, dialling in exactly where the low-end body sits.
Mid: Reposition and reshape the Mid control's frequency range. Most effective at lower Mid values, letting you sculpt the midrange character for any tuning or playing style.
CabShaper
IR Designer
Ditch fixed IRs. CabShaper is a fully tweakable speaker model built around parametric filters you can drag, tune, and shape in real time. Sculpt the frequency response of your cabinet from the ground up—dial the mid scoop exactly where your genre needs it, kill the low-end boom, tame the high-frequency fizz, and capture the behaviour of real loudspeakers without fighting resonances in the mix. Your cab, your rules.
Low Cut
Rolls off low-end rumble below the cutoff, keeping the low frequencies clean and controlled.
Parametric EQ (x10)
Sculpt the loudspeaker's characteristic frequency response with adjustable gain, frequency, and Q.
Mid Scoop
Dial in the perfect mid-frequency cut — a specialised filter for capturing the varying wide mid scoop of different metal genres.
High Cut
Tames high-frequency harshness and controls where the sharp magnitude drop of typical guitar speakers occurs.

Molten Core launches in Early Access with the CoreEngine and CabShaper IR Designer fully functional. Features like the Tuner, Transpose, FX section, and MIDI support are in development for version 1.0, and the order of releases may change.
All Early Access buyers receive every update through version 1.0 at no extra cost.
